Two Las Vegas Residents hurt in separate train accidents

Nevada authorities report that one young boy was hurt and an adult woman killed in separate Las Vegas train accidents over this past weekend.  The adult woman was struck and killed by a train.  The 12-year old boy is still in the hospital, suffering from a severe leg injury involving a partially amputated foot.

The boy told authorities that he was running across the train tracks when he slipped and fell in the path of an oncoming Union Pacific freight train.  The woman, Carol Marie Scheible of North Las Vegas, was struck and killed by another Union Pacific freight train the day before.  It is unclear exactly what caused the deadly train accident.

When a Las Vegas train accident occurs, piecing the facts of the case together to determine cause and liability can be difficult.  If you feel you or a loved one has suffered a Las Vegas train accident injury due to the negligence or wrongdoing of another, you may wish to learn more about your legal rights and options.
