Suspect at Large after Face-Slashing in Las Vegas Casino
An article in today’s Las Vegas Sun states that police are on the look-out for a man who was captured on video slashing a man’s face at an unnamed casino in downtown Las Vegas.
The incident occurred on the evening of July 26 in the area of the Fremont Street corridor.
In the video, the man approaches another man who is playing at a slot machine. They appear to have a brief conversation before the suspect slashes the victim’s face with no warning.
No arrests have yet been made in this bizarre case, nor has the slashing weapon been identified. Police say that the suspect was wearing dark clothing, and is a white or Hispanic man with a medium build. They released surveillance video capturing the attack in the hope that a viewer may be able to identify the culprit.
