A teenager from the Las Vegas area was arrested in a food court on the Las Vegas Strip after being sought for the murders of his mother and brother.
According to an article by ABC News, Adrian Navarro-Canales, 16, was arrested with no resistance at the food court at Showcase mall on Wednesday. Police spokesman Keith Paul said, “He was sitting at a table. The two detectives walked up to him and took him into custody.”
The youth will await an initial court appearance from the juvenile detention area of the Clark County Detention Center in downtown Las Vegas.
The bloody bodies of Navarro-Canales’ mother and younger brother were found at his apartment on Friday. It is unknown where Adrian stayed between Friday and the time of his apprehension.
