The driver of a black Mercedes sedan is in critical condition following an accident that occurred Friday. According to reports the driver of a Frito Lay truck hit the Mercedes from behind while traveling southbound on Interstate 15 near Blue Diamond Rd.
Both drivers were taken to University Medical Center for injuries. The driver of the Frito Lay truck was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, whereas the driver of the Mercedes is in critical condition, according to theLas Vegas Sun.
The truck accident occurred just after 3:45 a.m., shutting down a section of the freeway. The freeway was reopened shortly after 9 a.m.
