According to reports, Michael Boldon died when his taxi was hit by aspiring rapper Kenneth Cherry’s Maserati on Feb. 21.
Cherry was allegedly driving northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard around 4:20 a.m. when he was gunned down by someone in a Range Rover. After sustaining hits to his chest and arm, he allegedly lost control of his car and continued into the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, where he crashed into Boldon’s taxi.
Boldon died in the accident, along with a passenger who has been identified as Sandra Sutton-Wasmund, 48. Ammar Harris has been arrested for the shooting.
According to the taxi injury attorneys, Boldon’s family has questions about the incident and wants to know why the taxi exploded upon impact. The attorneys said the family has found some solace in the fact that Harris has been arrested.
