Paul is originally from Montreal, Canada and came to the United States in 2001. He is a graduate of Lake Forest College in Illinois, where he earned a B.A. with a double major in Business and International Relations. Paul then attended Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. In addition to earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence, Paul also earned a specialization in Business Law with Distinction. In law school, he received the Witkin Award for the top grade in federal income tax.
Paul began his legal career at Cogburn Law Officers in Las Vegas. There he represented consumers primarily dealing with the financial crisis. He assisted struggling homeowners with the restructuring of their loan or exiting their underwater homes, resulting in his participation in over a hundred foreclosure mediations.
Wanting to focus his practice on helping those who have been injured, Paul transitioned from real estate law to personal injury law. Prior to joining Bertoldo Baker Carter & Smith, Paul worked for Atkinson Watkins & Hoffmann where he practiced personal injury and medical malpractice law.
Paul is dedicated to helping those injured by others and giving them a voice. He prides himself in providing the highest level of representation for all his clients.
Paul has obtained an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubble, the highest rating available based upon reviews from his peers. He is an active member of the Nevada Justice Association and has previously been a speaker for the National Business Institute. He is licensed to practice in the State of Nevada and California. Paul is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, the Central District of California and Northern District of California.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife Lindsay and daughter Madison. He is also an avid hockey player, runner and obstacle course racer.
